Train Day at the Gainesville Midland 208 Steam Engine & Caboose Museum
June 20 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Hosted by the Barrow County Historical Society, Train Day offers a fun opportunity to learn more about Winder’s railroad history while exploring the Gainesville Midland 208 steam engine and caboose museum adjacent to the historic depot.
Activities include railroad memorabilia, Train Man Jim Baughman, a hunt for Saralyn Pope’s train-themed painted rocks with prizes, bubbles, games and other family-friendly activities. Donations to support the museum are welcome.
Winder Woodstock
